The traditional production system was prevails in the study area; the low production results from poor planting materials, seasonal variation within the country, global climatic changes, squirrel attacks etc. Palm trees contribute a significant amount of annual income to the households of the study area (25.03% of total annual income). However the poor marketing system result in decreasing the annual return from palm trees. This study has been suggested to improve the overall situation of the palm tree production in the study area.
